Book Launch: Team Trinity by Fiona Snyckers

Modjaji Books and Skoobs, Theatre of Books are delighted to invite you to the launch of Fiona Snyckers’ third book, Team Trinity.

Join us for a launch with a difference that includes writers, Fiona Snyckers, Joanne Macgregor, Sinovuyo Nkonki and Kathryn White discussing the topic, “Changing with the times: who decides what teenagers should be reading?”.

Skoobs is running a writing competition for teenage writers, the prize-giving will happen at the launch. See below for more info.

Calling all teenage writers! Flash fiction is the hottest new genre on the block. It’s an extreme form of short-story writing. Think short, sharp and shocking. Send us your flash fiction story of no more than 300 words on the following topic – ‘A Controlling Relationship’. It could be about any kind of relationship you choose: a girlfriend and boyfriend, two friends, a brother and sister, a parent and child, strangers on a plane. The choice is yours. If your story is chosen as one of the best, you will be invited to read it out loud at the launch of Team Trinity. You will also win an awesome gift pack of some of the coolest South African Young Adult fiction around. Entries to be e-mailed by 27th May to info@helco.co.za
