4th edition of African Small Publishers’ Catalogue in production

by Colleen Higgs | Apr 26, 2018 | News

TAGGED: African publishing | African Small Publishing Catalogue | independent publishers | publishing resource

If you are a small or independent publisher in Africa you really should list in the new edition of the African Small Publishers’ Catalogue. The catalogue reaches important people and players in the book world both locally and internationally. It’s a way of making your company more visible and thus more likely to be offered opportunities that you didn’t even know existed.

The Catalogue highlights and showcases the wide range of publishers all over the continent doing extraordinary work. It shines light on this work, connecting publishers to each other as well as to the bigger world of publishing, the book trade and readers.

We currently have publishers listed from all over Africa, including: Algeria, South Africa, Mozambique, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Senegal, Egypt, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Nigeria, Zambia, Mauritius.

We also feature interesting articles so that is more than a list of publishers and their contact details. It is a valuable resource from which we can all learn, new projects and ventures are highlighted and interesting issues in the ever-changing, ever-challenging world of publishing are examined.

The catalogue is valued by librarians all over the world who specialise in African Studies, by booksellers locally and internationally, by readers, writers, NGOs involved in promoting reading, literacy and African publishing. Do yourself and your company a favour and let us know if you want to list.

We also have place for editors, proofreaders, audiobooks, specialist libraries, booksellers, printers, and others who want to either be included in the classified ads or larger adverts to participate.
