Shanice Ndlovu
Shanice Ndlovu is a speculative fiction writer. She has earned a Masters in Creative Writing from the University of Witwatersrand. Ndlovu won the first virtual Africa’s Ultimate Storyteller competition by HadithiYaAfrica and was nominated for the NOMMO Speculative Fiction Awards.
Shanice has been a panelist and speaker at the Afrofuturism Panel, Bosch Alumni Network and Poetry Africa amongst others. In 2026 she adapted her short story, Isithunzi, into a libretto for the Munich Biennale Festival. Her short stories have been published in anthologies for Botsotso, Short.Sharp.Stories, KnL Prize and the Toyin Falola Prize.
The Pride of Noonlay is her first collection of short stories.
