Diane Awerbuck is a prizewinning author and teacher. She is the great-grand-daughter of Raphael the seller of fish; the grand-daughter of Ettie the player of scales; and the daughter of Anne the teacher of schools of fish. She lives in Fish Hoek with her fingerlings.
