Tiah Marie Beautement is the author of two novels and numerous short stories, including the award-winning Memento Mori. She teaches writing to all ages and freelances for a variety of publications. She lives on the South African Garden Route with her family, two dogs, a cat, and a small flock of chickens. Diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and fibromyalgia, she is outspoken about living life with chronic conditions and disability. To stay as mentally and physically healthy as possible, she belly dances, horse rides, and zips along as a pillion on motorcycles.
