Tracey Hawthorne is the author of many non-fiction books, including an award-winning biography of the artist John Meyer. Her subject matter includes current affairs, politics, wildlife and travel, food and lifestyle, human interest, celebrity profiles, sport, finance, and technology.  Her short stories have been published in magazines and journals locally and internationally. She works mainly as an editor for several South African publishers and private clients. She lives in the Western Cape. Flipped is her first novel.
